Oh canvas tote. How I have loved you so. So humble in design yet so damn reliable. Honestly though, I have had this imitation matisse bag since July 2015 when I fashioned it up from some a shoddy sewing machine, some canvas material, a dodgy homemade attempt at a screenprinter and some ink. Five years later though and it is still going so strong. Surprisingly, I have never lost love for the design and still reach out for it most days. It just goes to show that when you nail a design, it can certainly be a forever piece. Its definitely also got that added sentimental layer of five years of grime from high school lunches spilling in it, riverbank sand and god knows what else.
The above picture is of me when I was 15 rocking the tote in this funky dress. Which by the way, I still have this entire outfit and wear it often!
